A list of used cars has been compiled, the price of which has significantly decreased in May

Demand continues to fall both in the market of new cars and on the “secondary”. In this regard, the cost of used cars no older than 15 years decreased slightly: in May it dropped by almost 20 thousand rubles, to the average 2.3 million, experts of Auto.ru Evaluation calculated.

The used crossover EXEED LX was most noticeably in price. In May, it was offered an average of four percent cheaper than in April – for 1.8 million rubles. The following is the RAM 1,500 pickup, which became cheaper by 3.5 percent and was sold for 10.2 million rubles. Closes the three Lada-2113 with a decrease in an average cost by three percent, to 228 thousand rubles.

The fourth and fifth places went to the Great Wall Hover N3 (-3 percent and 711 thousand rubles) and Chevrolet Aveo T250 (-3 percent and 485 thousand).

Interestingly, the most noticeable decrease in cost in May was recorded in American brands – 1.5 percent, to 1.32 million rubles. In May 2024, the average cost was nine percent higher.

The used cars from Europe, Japan and South Korea fell into six percent of up to 2.35 million rubles per year. But the Russian and Chinese threw off only three percent, reaching a cost of 703 thousand and 2.17 million, respectively.

As for the regions, the Novosibirsk region became the leader in the cost of the cost of the b/U-Mashin, where the price dropped 4.5 percent to two million rubles compared to April. Next are the Ryazan region (-4 percent, 1 million rubles), Primorsky Territory (-3.5 percent, 2.4 million), Vologda region (-3 percent, 1.27 million) and Smolensk region (-3 percent, 1.18 million).

Earlier, expert Alexander Kovalev listed the best used crossovers “younger” 10 years, which can be bought within 1.5 million. Among them were Geely Atlas, Nissan Terrano, Renault Duster and Hyundai Creta.
