A mysterious video from Alfa Romeo has appeared

The Italian brand shared the final video called Best of, at the very end of which it hid a mysterious teaser – it apparently showed the taillights of some car. Carscoops writes that this is likely the new generation Alfa Romeo Stelvio, which is expected to debut next year.

The four-second video showed a “light signature”: a dynamic LED strip outlines the contour of the iconic Scudetto grille – apparently, the rear lights of the future Alfa Romeo model will have this shape. We are probably talking about the next Stelvio, which with the change of generation should move to the STLA Large platform, the same one on which the Dodge Charger is based. The Stelvio will have a purely electric variant, which has already been confirmed by the company, but hybrid modifications are also expected.

Stelvio has been in service since 2016, the model underwent its first restyling in 2020, and was updated for the second time in the fall of 2022. Next year, the crossover will change its generation, but there are few details yet: it is obvious that it will be transformed outside and inside and will probably have similar features to the “junior” Junior. What is certain is that Alfa Romeo will abandon the placement of the license plate on the side due to pedestrian safety requirements.

The new generation electric Stelvio is expected to have versions with a single electric motor, as well as two- and three-motor power plants. According to preliminary data, in the first two cases the output will be from 240 to 450 horsepower, and the top Quadrifoglio will develop approximately 1000 horsepower. On one charge, the electric car can travel up to 800 kilometers.

Production of the next Stelvio will be organized at the Italian plant in Cassino. The crossover will debut at the end of the first half of 2025, and will go on sale in the second half of the year.
