According to Shot, 23-year-old Vadim and his friend Daria were riding a sports motorcycle from Koh Samui to Phuket when a car driven by a local resident crashed into the rear wheel of their bike.

His companion, who was with him, was taken to a medical facility with multiple bruises and fractures; her condition is assessed as serious.
