A unique car, created to order, is available for purchase through a Moscow intermediary company with delivery throughout the Russian Federation.
Morgan Midsummer is a limited-edition sports car created in collaboration between the British Morgan Motor Company and the legendary Italian studio Pininfarina. This is one of only 50 examples produced worldwide.
The car on display in Vladivostok is finished in Grigio Cangiante (a Maserati hue) with soft beige grain leather upholstery. Options include a taller windshield, as well as a sports exhaust system and a wooden gearshift knob. The cabin also features analogue instruments and a Sennheiser audio system.
The main technical feature of Midsummer is the wooden frame, which is deliberately shown here as an integral part of the design. The aluminum body panels were processed by hand for 250 hours.
Under the long hood is a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline six-cylinder BMW B58 engine that develops 340 hp. and 550 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission.
Weighing only about a ton, the sports car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in about 4 seconds. The specially designed 19-inch forged wheels weigh just 10 kg. each is 3 kg lighter than the Plus Six model.
According to the seller, the car’s mileage is only 10 km. The price of Morgan Midsummer is 52.7 million rubles.
