Absolutely new Hyundai Solaris: “living” photos of the base version

The inexpensive Korean third-generation seden was supposed to register in Russia, but due to sanctions the project was paused. However, in India for two years the closest “relative” of our failed Solaris under the name Verna has been sold. The top versions had long been advertised, but Hyundai was not in a hurry to show the initial package, and now it became clear why-there were a lot of simplifications!

New Hyundai Solaris

So far, the third-generation Hyundai Verna (Solaris) is an exclusive for India, but against the backdrop of rumors about the return of Korean brands to Russia, we decided to evaluate the design and equipment of the initial version of EX with “atmospheric” 1.5 (115 hp, 144 Nm) and 6-speed “mechanics”. Such a modification costs only 1,286,000 rupees (1.28 million rubles), and in India they prefer to make a richer assembly.

Outside, the basic sedan is given out turners in the front wings, simplified mirrors, 15-inch “stamping” with caps, halogen headlights and plugs instead of LED DROs in front. In the cabin, the black plastic module instead of the touchscreen of the media system and the analog scales of the instruments on the dick under the screen are noteworthy. Multiper is simplified: only one “swing” for settings of the on -board computer on the left!

However, even the basic sedan has a steering wheel and front seats in height, USB-deposits from behind, air conditioning, stabilization system, central locking, six airbags (!), Front and rear armrests, as well as electric drives of mirrors. “Advertising” top versions with a turbo engine (160 hp, 253 nm), “robot” and maximum equipment will easily exceed the bar of 2.0 million rupees (2.0 million rubles).

The results of the crash test appeared the new Hyundai Solaris

Officially, the return of Hyundai was not reported to Russia, but we still have sedans and crossovers of past generations under the Solaris brand. After the abolition of sanctions pressure, we may well have our own analogue of the Indian Verna with the appropriate adaptation, the benefit of the Koreans have already been engaged in the refinement.
