Almost 350 million rubles in three weeks were invested in AvtoVAZ

During the corporate leave, which took place from July 28 to August 17, at the factories of the auto giant, they carried out 10,813 equipment for the maintenance and modernization of equipment. This cost 347 million rubles, the AvtoVAZ press service reports. The workers improved the Lada Niva, Granta and Vesta lines, prepared for the launch of Azimut production, and shipped part of the equipment for ISKRA at the “Automobile Plant St. Petersburg”.

In three weeks, the Vazovtsy mounted a robotics -technician manufacturing floor of the body in the Lada ISKRA welding workshop. In the Granta workshop, the sidewalls are now loaded automatically: thanks to this, AvtoVAZ expects to save up to six million rubles annually. In addition, more modern robots will now be engaged in ISKRA and Granta.

On the Vesta line, new robots were installed for welding of the floor and the base of the body, and the plate conveyor was repaired on the Niva line, updating 1400 meters of sections. Also, part of the equipment was replaced in the color workshop and prepared the assembly workshop for the release of the unit 1.8.

In the welding workshops, 23 new robots were installed to the soon start of the Azimut crossover.
