“Autoreviation” shared the details about the most anticipated novelty of the plant. According to the publication, the most simple machines with an 8-valve engine and the domestic 5-speed “mechanics” plan to produce very little. The bet will be made on 16-valve options with Chinese transmission. The reason is prosaic: the larger the purchases of imported gearboxes, the cheaper each individual unit.

The basic Lada ISKRA for 1.2 million rubles can be as rare as Granta for 750 thousand rubles or Vesta for 1.24 million rubles: such machines are in price lists, but it is almost impossible to find these configurations in car dealerships. AvtoVAZ claims that buying a car at a minimum price is really on order.

The bet on Chinese transmission in Togliatti explains differently. The choice of a supplier from the PRC is due to the quality of its products and suitable production volumes, and in Russia they simply do not make similar gearboxes.
