Assembly of Aurus cars resumed in Yelabuga

The production site began operating as usual in accordance with the plan for 2026, the Aurus company told Rossiyskaya Gazeta about this.

“The main goal set for the plant in the near future is to prepare production for the serial production of the restyled Aurus Senat model. At the moment, pre-production bodies have already been welded and painted, subassemblies have been configured, equipment has been configured for the production of the new model, and the necessary technological operations have been worked out. The assembly of prototypes of the serial version of the new model is ahead,” reports RG with reference to the Aurus press service.

Next, the first finished samples will be sent for technical testing to the leading Russian automotive institute – FSUE NAMI.

The company noted that the first Aurus Senat model has already taken its rightful place in the pantheon of the Russian automotive industry, becoming a legendary classic. Restyling does not seek to replace it, but takes the baton, developing the established traditions.
