In Sergiev Posad, a car owner was unable to sell an Indian Bajaj Qute for 3 years

A man who calls himself the sole owner of the vehicle posted an ad on the specialized website Avto.ru and talked about his “workhorse.”

“The car is not damaged, it drives cheerfully. Oil change 1 thousand km. back. New battery, replaced tie rod ends. There is an independent heater. I’ll give you two sets of tires and brake pads with it. Doesn’t eat oil, consumption is 4l/100. The car has a radio tape recorder. The mileage is 13.5 thousand in 2 years. Don’t ask stupid questions,” said the seller.

It is noted that the car was released in 2018. The owner has put it up for sale in November 2022. But apparently, there are no people willing to buy the car yet.

Bajaj Qute is a quadricycle, that is, it is somewhere between a car and a sidecar. To drive it in Russia, a driver’s license with the open category “B1” is required.

Sales of Bajaj Qute in Russia started in the fall of 2016. The distributor was East West Motors. At the start, the basic version of the quadricycle with films on the windows instead of glass cost about 330 – 337 thousand rubles, and the version with full glass and a heater was estimated at about 390 thousand rubles.

Technically, the Qute is a four-seater hatchback measuring just 2,752mm long and 1,312mm wide. It is equipped with a 217 cc single-cylinder petrol engine. cm, which produces 13.5 hp. The maximum speed is 70 km/h, and fuel consumption in the combined cycle does not exceed 2.8-3 liters. per 100 km.

Qute was positioned primarily as a commercial vehicle for delivery services, couriers, rentals and taxis, but it could also be purchased by private individuals.

Sales of the model in Russia ceased in 2020. The distributor decided not to supply any more quadricycles to the Russian Federation, and the model disappeared from the official price lists.
