Aston Martin showed photos from the final tests of Valhalla

The British brand showed a 1079-horsepower superhibride in December last year after a two-year delay. In this form, the car will be allowed into production, which should start soon – in the second quarter of this year. In the meantime, Aston Martin conducts final calibrations and tests on the roads of Great Britain and on a racing highway in Spain.

The tests were held on public roads in the UK, as well as at the IDIADA testing ground near Barcelona. We left for Valhalla in two greenish colors: the first was painted in Podium Green with a Lime Green strip, and the second – into the overflow of Verdant Jude with golden accents Valkyrie Gold.

During the tests, Aston Martin checked the steering, the operation of active aerodynamic elements, shock absorbers and the efficiency of the braking system, as well as adhesion on a wet road.

The first serial Aston Martin with an average engine will be released in 999 copies. It is also the first connected hybrid for the brand: the Valhalla is set up with a four -liter V8, an electric motor integrated into an eight -speed “robot”, and two more, drive the front wheels. Combined return – 1079 horsepower. From a place to 100 kilometers per hour, the car will accelerate in 2.5 seconds.

Supercar is capable of going only on an electric trash, however, no more than 14 kilometers and at a speed of not higher than 140 kilometers per hour.
