Atelier ABT was robbed for 300 thousand euros

Thieves removed forged wheels and carbon-ceramic brakes from cars parked at the headquarters, after turning off cameras and street lighting. The police began the investigation, and ABTs want to strengthen security measures.

From the parking lot at the headquarters of the ABT Sportsline, thieves stole wheels and carbon-ceramic discs for hundreds of thousands of euros. Seven cars remained immobilized, mainly the universals of ABT RS 6. The attackers turned off the surveillance and lighting cameras, but how they managed to withdraw the loot, the police will understand. According to the head of the marketing department of Daniel Abta, each car lost 42,800 euros parts, and they are unlikely to be returned.

Over the past weeks, several more showrooms have been robbed in the district, so that law enforcement officers only increased work. In general, ABT Sportsline believes that thieves could act on a tip or they have their own person inside the company – they managed to cut the power cable and cut off the security system too easily. Earlier, the same attackers removed the wheels and brakes from the cars in the dealer center Aston Martin and Audi and, most likely, had already managed to transport them abroad and sell.

One of the last works of the ABT family was the “evil” ABT RS Q8-le based on the updated RS Q8 Performance. He completes the Legacy trilogy (Le – Legacy Edition) and demonstrates a more calm approach to tuning. On the RS Q8-le “Biturbovosmiere” V8 4.0 develops 760 forces and 980 nm. The crossover was replaced by the intercooler, the exhaust highway, the firmware was changed in the control unit and the pneumatic suspension was re -scheduled.
