Audi showed A3 with three levels of ADAS and remote parking

A small update to the A3 affected the exterior, interior and electronics. Among the main innovations are a panoramic curved display and more advanced ADAS. Carscoops reports this.

The current Audi A3 underwent a mid-cycle update quite recently, but the company decided not to stop – the next round of changes affected primarily the interior. The compact hatchback, sedan and crossover are now equipped with a curved digital instrument panel, more advanced driver assistance systems, as well as updated optics and special nameplates for the S and RS versions.

The key change is to the dashboard: Audi has ditched two separate screens in favor of a single curved glass, which is already familiar from the Q3. Two displays (11.9 and 12.8 inches) are oriented towards the driver and are complemented by a light strip. Unlike older models like the A5, A6 and Q6 e-tron, the A3 does not have a passenger screen.

The updated A3 interior offers four trim options: carbon fiber, Dinamica microfiber, “Light crepe” and “Impressum black”, in keeping with Audi’s commitment to personalization.

Driver assistance systems are now available in three equipment levels: Tech, Tech Plus and Tech Pro. The key new feature is Adaptive Cruise Assist Plus, which controls longitudinal and lateral movement at speeds of up to 210 km/h, keeping the car in its lane and maintaining a distance with minimal driver intervention.

For parking, two systems are offered: Park Assist Plus and the more functional Park Assist Pro, which includes remote parking. Both versions can adapt to the driver: they analyze his habits and, over time, adapt to his individual driving style.
