Australia filed a collective lawsuit against Tesla due to autopilot, brakes and autonomy

The accusations were made by the law firm JGA Saddler, whose experts said that the characteristics declared by the manufacturer do not correspond to the real, which leads to a deterioration in safety during the operation of electric vehicles. Lawyers offer to join the lawsuit to all owners of Model 3 and Model Y, who bought electric cars since May 2021.

The first claim of lawyers was the range of batteries on one charge of batteries. Many Australians complained that even 75 percent of the path from the autonomy declared by the manufacturer could not drive. Motorists also believe that the functionality of the autopilot of electric cars does not correspond to the real abilities of the unmanned system.

The dissatisfied owners of Tesla from China fined for tens of thousands of dollars a rating of electric cars in charge of charging: Tesla lost to the Chinese Tesla sales in Europe collapsed to a two -year minimum

The final point of accusations was automatic driver’s assistants who periodically see non -existent obstacles, activating the emergency braking system. On the roads, such unexpected actions can lead to serious accidents.

In 2023, Tesla electric car owners sued the manufacturer for too expensive and long repairs. Then the collective appeal was sent to the court of San Francisco.
