Auto expert Rogov named three models for import from China with a budget of up to 2 million rubles

With a budget of up to 2 million rubles, it is profitable to import used cars of Korean and Chinese brands belonging to the mass market segment to Russia from China. The founder of the RogovMobil company, Dmitry Rogov, told Gazeta.Ru about this.

“With an amount of 2 million rubles, they order a used Hyundai Elantra model from China. In some markets it is known as Lantra. A Kia K3 with delivery will cost approximately 1.8 million rubles in Russia. This will already be a C-class model. In addition, from China for 1.5 million rubles you can bring a Geely Coolray crossover with a naturally aspirated engine as standard. In my opinion, these are interesting proposals from China,” Rogov said.

According to the expert, we are talking about cars 3-5 years old with engines up to 160 horsepower – they are subject to a preferential recycling fee. All pass-through cars from China come with basic gasoline engines.

The specialist also noted that the standard equipment of such cars usually includes fabric seat upholstery, air conditioning and mechanical seat adjustments. Leather interior, climate control and sunroof are the prerogative of more expensive modifications.
