Auto expert Titov named 8 underrated Chinese used cars

Underrated Chinese used cars include Haval Jolion, Haval F7, Geely Coolray, Geely Atlas Pro, Chery Tiggo 4 Pro, Chery Tiggo 7 Pro, Exeed TXL and RX. Roman Titov, Deputy General Director for Used Cars of the Avilon Group of Companies, said this in an interview with Gazeta.Ru.

“On the used car market, models are often overpriced, the cost of which is determined not only by their technical condition and characteristics, but also by the strong reputation of the brand. First of all, we are talking about individual versions of Toyota Land Cruiser, Land Cruiser Prado, Camry, Lexus LX and RX, Hyundai Solaris and Kia Rio, as well as some Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Range Rover without a transparent service history,” the expert said.

According to Titov, underrated Chinese used cars include Haval Jolion, Haval F7, Geely Coolray, Geely Atlas Pro, Chery Tiggo 4 Pro, Chery Tiggo 7 Pro, Exeed TXL and RX. Moreover, such cars become especially attractive if they are purchased from an official dealer, have a confirmed service history and a current or residual warranty. There is still a psychological discount in this segment: many buyers are wary of Chinese brands, although quality, technology and service have improved significantly in recent years.

The expert added that Volvo, Volkswagen Tiguan, Skoda Kodiaq, Mazda CX-5, Renault Duster, Arkana and Kaptur also deserve attention. The price of these machines usually does not significantly overpay for the brand, but they offer a good service life, a transparent service history and predictable operating costs.
