Auto expert Tselikov: 89% of buyers are looking for cars with mileage up to 100 thousand kilometers

Such data were obtained during a survey of the audience of the Telegram channel “Autostat”, which was conducted in early March. 1.4 thousand people became participants, reports the head of the analytical agency Sergei Tselikov.

“Not long ago we conducted a survey at what mileage car owners want to part with their car. Now the survey is on the other side – with what mileage do they want to buy? Naturally, these ranges do not converge. Most of all there are those who want to buy a used car with mileage in the range from 30 to 60 thousand km (39%). Exactly a quarter of respondents (25%) indicated ranges of up to 30 thousand and from 60 to 100 thousand km,” the expert noted.

Thus, 89% of buyers are looking for cars with mileage up to 100 thousand kilometers. Moreover, only a quarter of owners are ready to part with the car at this stage. The ideal compromise, where the interests of both parties meet, is a mileage of 50-60 thousand kilometers. Of course, you can sell a car with high mileage, but then you will have to be more accommodating in price.
