Auto expert Tselikov: sales of new Lexus cars increased by 90%

The number of new Lexus passenger cars registered in Russia in the first four months of 2026 amounted to 1,495 units, which is 90% higher than the figure for January-April 2025 (785 units). The head of the analytical agency Avtostat, Sergei Tselikov, reported this on his Telegram channel.

“More than half of sales (59.6%) were from the Lexus RX crossover (891 units). The top three popular models also included the full-size Lexus LX crossover (367 units) and the Lexus ES business class sedan (108 units),” the expert said.

According to him, unlike many other brands, 84% of Lexus sold this year are assembled in Japan. Cars are supplied mainly through Kyrgyzstan and Belarus. The share of Chinese versions of Lexus is only 12.5%.
