According to the specialist, this car is not only a close relative of the Sollers SP7, but is also produced at the same plant.
The RF8’s most annoying flaw is its noisy engine. The two-liter turbo-four N20TG with a power of 236 horsepower and 390 Nm is not bad in itself, but the noise is clearly audible even in the second row of seats, albeit slightly muffled. If there was a V8 under the hood, there would be no questions, but the usual “turbo-four” with direct injection is no different from intelligible vocals, noted Za Rulem magazine expert Alexander Vinogradov.
According to him, when moving, the minivan is like a ship, and sailing somehow detached from the captain. The steering wheel is “empty”; there is no desired feedback when cornering. Sport mode increases the force, but only around the zero position.
The front panel flaunts a combined “field” of the instrument panel and media system with a diagonal of 25 inches. And each of these inches, alas, glares. The driver’s seat is comfortable, but there is no massage – this option is only available for second-row passengers. Also, the car does not have a spherical mirror on the ceiling or a camera aimed at the interior, which is strange for a car that large families with children can buy.
The gearbox is an eight-speed Aisin TG81 automatic. The suspension is energy-intensive. Formally, the engine allows the use of AI-92 gasoline, but the expert does not recommend doing this regularly.
