Despite the lower price compared to German premium SUVs, the most expensive version of the Nio is equipped with 47 speakers and separate ones for second-row passengers, Carscoops reports.
All modifications of Nio ES9 are based on a modern 900-volt platform and are equipped as standard with a 102-kWh CATL battery. Two electric motors produce a total of 697 hp, which accelerates the colossus to “hundreds” in 4.3 seconds. The power reserve, depending on the version, ranges from 580 to 620 km.
It is important to emphasize that Nio ES9 is designed taking into account proprietary technology for quick battery replacement. This means the 102-kilowatt-hour battery can be replaced in just three minutes at any of the company’s stations. To reduce the starting price, buyers can subscribe to the battery as a service – then the car will cost $57,500 (about 4 million rubles). Those who choose to own the battery will have to shell out a minimum of $73,500 (approximately 5.2 million rubles). In any case, for such characteristics the price is more than attractive.
The dimensions of the Nio ES9 are impressive: length – 5365 mm, width – 2029 mm, height – 1870 mm, wheelbase – 3250 mm. It is not surprising that such a giant is equipped with 23-inch wheels. In terms of design, the SUV is designed in the same style as other Nio models: laconic separate headlights, discreet body lines and an LED strip at the rear.
