Autostat analysts noted an increase in demand for new Mazda and Toyota

Analysts from the Autostat agency summed up the sales of new cars for February 2026. 80,027 cars were sold in the country, which is 2.5% more than a year earlier. As experts clarify, three brands from the top ten showed negative dynamics in shipments, namely: Changan (-52.3%), Lada (-22.5%) and Geely (-8.6%).

The market leader is Lada (19,040 units; -22.5%), followed by Haval (10,155 units; +6.1%), Tenet (8,626 units), Belgee (4,694 units; +134.6) and Geely (4,664 units; -8.6%).

In addition to the success of Belgee, it is worth noting the sharp increase in sales of Mazda cars, which managed to take sixth place (2773 units; +1852.8%).

Russians were also very active in buying new Toyotas: this Japanese brand managed to transfer 1,975 new cars to customers (+102.4%).

It is logical to assume that our compatriots buy Mazda and Toyota made in China, since this is the most affordable option.
