Autostat: sales of new electric vehicles in Russia increased by 23%

In January-March 2026, 2,272 new electric cars were sold, experts from the Autostat agency report, citing data from PPK JSC – this is 22.5% more than a year earlier. The leadership belongs to the domestic brand Evolute, sales of which amounted to 922 units, which is equivalent to 40.6% of total sales.

The most popular electric car in our country is the Evolute i-JOY, the result of which during the reporting period was 803 units, which corresponds to 35.3% of all sales.

In December last year, the Motorinvest company opened sales of the second generation Evolute i-Joy electric crossover. The newcomer is a variation of the Chinese Nammi 06 model from the Dongfeng concern.

After several months of operation, the owners discovered an unexpected feature of the machines. So, in the inner arches of the front wheels there are large open openings through which dirt gets inside.

A more unexpected problem was that cats like the space under the hood: “For me, the main problem is the neighbor’s cat, which comes at night,” writes one of the owners of the Evolute.
