The reason was the scandal around the Avatr 12 electrician: the blogger accused the manufacturer of deceit with an aerodynamic resistance coefficient, saying that he was underestimated. Avatr conducted additional tests with the participation of independent experts, the results of which coincided with officially declared. Despite this, the blogger continued to criticize the company and has not yet reacted to claims.
Avatr made an official statement in which it announced the direction of the pre -trial demand for one of the popular Chinese bloggers. The reason for the claims was the accusations against the Avatr 12 electrician related to its aerodynamics. The manufacturer demanded to remove all publications with inaccurate information, as well as place public apologies on the pages of a blogger on social networks.

In response to the charges, Avatr organized public tests of model 12, which were held in China and broadcast live. Tests were carried out by specialists of the Chinese Institute of automotive engineering and were under the control of independent observers. The company said that new measurements have confirmed the previously declared aerodynamic resistance coefficient – 0.21. The blogger himself made the possibility of conspiracy between test participants, but officially the Avatr requirements have not yet commented.
In early May, it became known that the Chinese blogger independently tested the Avatr 12 electric car in an aerodynamic pipe. According to him, the aerodynamic resistance coefficient was significantly higher than the declared – about 0.28. He emphasized that such a result is comparable to the characteristics of old vehicles with gasoline engines, such as Volkswagen Passat B5. The blogger accused the company of deliberately distorting the data, which, in his opinion, misleads buyers.
