Avatr revealed the results of aerodynamics tests after accusations of lies

The Changan premium brand publicly showed how the Sedan with the 12 index is blowing in the aerodynamic pipe of the Chinese automobile research institute. Interest in the streamlines coefficient arose after the famous blogger conducted independent tests of the electric car and accused Avar of lies: according to the real level, much worse than the declared value of 0.21.

The observer received CC = 0.28: at the level of “gasoline car of 20 years ago.” However, Avatr did not agree with such an assessment and clearly showed that there are no trifles in assessing the aerodynamic effectiveness of the same car. First, an electric car with optional disks with reduced resistance and cameras instead of mirrors was taken for testing: the result was 0.2175.

Then exactly the same Avatr 12 was tested with sports discs, and the result was 0.2326. Next, they took a sedan with traditional rear view mirrors, sports wheels and an increased level of air suspension: the circuits grew to 0.2508. Finally, during the purge, an active grate of the front air intake was opened, and the result worsened to 0.2741. According to Avatr, the winnings of each 0.01 of the aerodynamic resistance coefficient gives an increase in 3-5%set.

For Russians, disputes about Avatr 12 are curious because this year the sedan will be officially brought to Russia. Now we are sold with a guarantee only an AVATR 11 crossover, but during the year the entire range of electric vehicles and hybrids will be brought to our market, and the total number of models will increase to four.
