The Russian auto giant sharply denied the message of the Telegram channel about the allegedly impending transfer of the enterprise to a four-day working week and demanded that law enforcement and regulatory authorities “discredit the activities” of Mash.
“AvtoVAZ JSC officially declares that the company has no plans to change the work schedule and switch to a shortened work week. This is not the first time that Mash has disseminated deliberately false information that discredits our company,” notes a message posted on the AvtoVAZ Telegram channel.
It also claims that such messages harm Russian industry and destabilize the situation in teams, and their dissemination actually supports the propaganda war coming from outside against Russia and its industry.
AvtoVAZ announced that there are no plans to switch to a shortened week: the plant will continue to work 5 days a week with full pay, the company assures.
“This message is an official public appeal from AvtoVAZ to regulatory and law enforcement agencies in an investigation into the discreditable activities of the Mash publication, which crossed all imaginable red lines with its lies,” the company said in a statement.
