AvtoVAZ is preparing a restyling of the Lada Niva Travel SUV

In the medium term, the legendary car will begin to be equipped with LED headlights. Thus, head lighting equipment will retain the same format, but instead of halogen lamps, the manufacturer will begin to use LED lamps. The first car to try this solution was from the Lada Sport studio.

A photograph of an improved version of the classic Niva was published by the head of the Lada Sport studio, Vladislav Nezvankin. The picture shows an SUV painted with Typhoon branded enamel.

This paint has an interesting feature: in cloudy weather it seems like an ordinary gray color, but in the sun particles of aluminum oxide coated with metal oxides (the so-called “xirallik”) begin to sparkle.

In Belarus, the Belgee X50 can now be bought for 1.5 million rubles. For Lada cars, laser welding will be used for the first time. Sales of “cheap” Zeekr 9X have started in Uzbekistan

Earlier it became known that AvtoVAZ extended the OTTS for the Lada Niva Legend until 2029. The Russian automaker has received a new Vehicle Type Approval for the Lada Niva Legend SUV family.

As Motor magazine found out, the document is valid until February 16, 2029 – all this time AvtoVAZ can produce and sell such cars.
