AvtoVAZ opened sales of 147-horsepower Lada Vesta Sport

The updated 1.8 EVO engine develops 147 hp. — in the previous generation, the engine produced 145 hp. The engine is distinguished by sports camshafts, an original cold intake system, an exhaust with an increased diameter and original controller firmware.

The updated Lada Vesta Sport uses a 6-speed manual transmission for the first time – it was shared with the Lada Vesta SW Cross station wagon. The springs and shock absorbers in the chassis were replaced, and the track was widened. Ground clearance is 158 mm (for a standard sedan – 178 mm).

The body is decorated with an aerodynamic body kit, and the interior features different seats, plus a leather-trimmed steering wheel and gear lever. For trips to racing tracks, there are functions for recording the time and speed of the distance – they can be viewed through the on-board computer.

The recommended retail price of Lada Vesta Sport will be from 2,352,000 rubles. The basic version includes keyless entry, remote engine start, a full set of heating, a rear view camera, cruise control, and the Lada EnjoY Vision Pro multimedia system.
