AvtoVAZ stopped producing the cheapest Lada Niva Travel

The Togliatti portal Lada.online discovered an adjustment to the price lists: in 2025, the equipment and assembly price of the Classic’24 changed. In December 2024, the basic Lada Niva Travel gained a driver’s airbag, increasing in price to 1,334,000 rubles, and now the airbag has been removed again, the price has been reduced to 1,314,000 rubles, but a “not produced” mark has appeared opposite this option.

Lada dealers still have stocks of SUVs in the basic Classic’24 version with a recommended price of 1,314,000 rubles, however, judging by the official AvtoVAZ website, the plant is now assembling Lada Niva Travel in richer trim levels. The most affordable version of Comfort’24 features two front airbags, rear head restraints, heated front seats, air conditioning and alloy wheels, but costs from 1,443,000 rubles.

Perhaps the initial version of Niva Travel without airbags will continue to be produced for government customers. In the price lists on the official website lada.ru there are still cheap Granta for 699,900 rubles and Lada Vesta for 1,239,900 rubles, but dealers do not have such configurations. Starting next week, Lada cars will become more expensive: dealers expect prices for the Granta and Niva Legend families to increase by 30-36 thousand rubles.

In 2025, Lada Niva Travel SUVs will undergo a major update: the headlights, front bumper, interior will change, and a 1.8-liter eight-valve engine will be installed under the hood. The timing of the family upgrade has not been officially specified.
