Updated options have already appeared on the brand’s website. The changes are related to the entry into force on March 1 of the law on the protection of the state language, which obliges the use of the Russian language in business communications, including signs and advertising. Auto.ru reports this.
“For the most part, the English-language names of the configurations were replaced with similar Russian-language ones. For example, Standart Plus is now called “Standard Plus”, Classic has become “Classic”, and Comfort has become “Comfort”. However, there are more noticeable changes. For example, Life was renamed “Practician”, #Club EnjoY was “#MMC Club”, and the Enjoy package is now called “Drive”, the publication says.
The names of the Lada models themselves have not changed, however, on the official website of the brand, clarifications in Russian have been added to some of them. For example, Lada Vesta Cross is now accompanied by the prefix [Кросс]and Iskra SW – [Универсал]. The Sportline line remained unchanged, but the Lada Sport models (Granta and Niva) received the mark [Sport].
Previously, the Haval model won the sales ranking among crossovers.
