Production volumes of the model will depend on demand.
Last summer, the head of AvtoVAZ, Maxim Sokolov, said that Lada Granta would be retired within five years, that is, they planned to get rid of the “state employee” by 2029. However, plans have now changed and resignation is no longer on the agenda. Dmitry Kostromin announced “all kinds of improvements” to the popular model and added that the plant has plans to refine it and equip it with new options.

Lada Granta has been produced since 2011, which means AvtoVAZ plans to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the model on the assembly line.
