NIKA Motor, which has completed the Lada Vesta for the local market, will be the official distributor of Russian cars. This was written by Rossiyskaya Gazeta with reference to the Iranian edition of Charkhan. When exports and sales begin, it is still unclear.
A document similar to the Russian approval of the type of vehicle (OTTS) was issued on Vesta in two types of body. Iranians will be offered a sedan and cross-version of the station wagon. Both are equipped with a 1.8-liter 16-valve “atmospheric” with a capacity of 122 horsepower, a pair of which is a variator.
Vesta’s certification in Iran has been working since September last year. Moreover, AvtoVAZ with the Iranians agreed earlier, but the process of some options prevented the process – perhaps the stabilization system. Iranian journalists wrote that the missing equipment appeared on LADA thanks to Chinese partners. At the same time, the possibility of establishing a small -sized assembly in the Middle East was not excluded.
