The BJ40 frame SUV is officially sold in Russia, and it is produced by the Kaliningrad Avtotor. The first -generation model is presented on our market, which is offered with gasoline and diesel engines. But in his native China the second generation of BJ40 is already sold, and the other day sales of his hybrid modification called BJ40E have started.

BAIC BJ40E outwardly repeats the relevant fuel version of the model in China: the same angular body, because of which the SUV was nicknamed the Chinese Wrangler, the frameless doors and rectangular headlights integrated into a radiator lattice. The luggage door consists of two elements – part with the rear glass leans up up, and the door itself opens to the side. The hybrid gives only an additional hatch on the rear right wing, under which there is a connector for connecting to the charger.

The consistent benzoelectric installation includes a 1.5-liter turbo engine with a capacity of 188 horsepower, which is not directly related to the wheels, and two electric motors on the front and rear axles. In total, the units develop 548 horsepower.

The car manufacturer claims that from the place to the “hundreds” the hybrid BJ40E accelerates in 5.5 seconds, and the maximum speed is 170 kilometers per hour. The battery of 40.3 kilowatt-hours is enough for 152 kilometers of the path in pure electricity, but the total supply of drive reaches 1.2 thousand kilometers. Fuel consumption “according to the passport” is 1.4 liters per 100 kilometers.

In terms of dimensions and cross -country ability, the hybrid is not inferior to the usual BJ40: with a length of 4.79 meters, its wheelbase is 2.76 meters, the road clearance is 215 millimeters, the angles of entry and the exit are 38 and 37 degrees, respectively, and the depth of the overcome fords – 750 millimeters. In front of the SUV, an independent suspension on double transverse levers, and behind – an independent multi -link.

BJ40E is equipped with a full -wheel drive system with three differential locks. It is clarified that two of them – the front and back – mechanical, and the central – automatic intellectual. The car also supports 11 driving modes.

In China, hybrid BAIC BJ40E costs from 179 800 to 199 800 yuan (2.1-2.3 million rubles at the course of today). In Russia, the first-generation SUV collected on Autotor will cost 3,409,000 rubles for diesel modification and 3,365,000-3,497,000 rubles per gasoline.
