Bentley introduced new hybrid versions of Continental GT and Flying Spur

A less powerful hybrid modification for 680 horsepower at once acquired the Continental GT coupe, Continental GTC convertible and Flying Spur sedan. All of them received a version of High Performance Hybrid with an installation based on a four -liter V8, deformed from 600 to 520 forces, and an electric motor built into an eight -speed robotic gearbox.

Currently, at the top of the gamma there is a top modification with the installation of Ultra Performance Hybrid, which has been replacing the W12 engine last year – it provides 750 horsepower and 1000 nm of torque. Now it was joined by a less powerful option with the installation of High Performance Hybrid, which is a deformed Ultra. The ICE gives out 520 forces and 770 nm of the moment, while the return of the electric motor has not changed and is all the same 190 forces and 450 nm of torque. The battery capacity is 25.9 kilowatt hours.

Bentley gives the dynamic characteristics of the new version. So, Continental GT High Performance Hybrid accelerates from a place of up to 100 kilometers per hour in 3.7 seconds, and a convertible 0.1 seconds is slower. The course of the coupe and convertible in electric mode is 85 and 82 kilometers, respectively. Flying Spur, in turn, is required to accelerate to “hundreds” of 3.9 seconds.

For new versions of models, pneumatic suspension, active stabilizers, rear stabilizing wheels and electronic -controlled blocking of the rear differential are declared. The cost of the Bentley Continental GT compartment with the High Performance Hybrid system has already been announced – one will cost at least 211 thousand euros (20 million rubles at the rate of today).
