Brabus presented the car that its founder Bodo Buschmann dreamed of creating during his lifetime. The 1000-horsepower Bodo coupe will be produced in an edition of 77 pieces, which refers to the year the company was founded – 1977. The Aston Martin Vanquish coupe was taken as the basis for the construction of the Bodo, but after deep tuning the source is impossible to recognize.
The Brabus Bodo coupe is not just another tuning project based on another powerful German car. This coupe, named after the company’s founder Bodo Buschmann, was built from scratch according to the canons of the “golden age of motoring”, but with the introduction of modern technologies. Bodo Buschmann, who founded Brabus in 1977 and passed away in 2018, always wanted to build a big coupe. Now his team has fulfilled the dream.
The coupe body is entirely made of high-strength carbon fiber, and Brabus specialists took serious care in aerodynamic design: the maximum speed of the car reaches 360 km/h. The radiator grille received 13 vertical slats, and under the rear window there was a nameplate with the numbers 77, in honor of the year the company was founded. The rear spoiler extends automatically in several stages depending on the speed.
Under the hood is a 5.2-liter V12 with two turbines that produces 1,000 hp. at 6400 rpm and 1200 Nm of torque. The dynamics are appropriate: the rear-wheel drive coupe reaches 100 km/h in 3 seconds.

The 2+2 coupe rides on 21-inch Monoblock Z-GT forged wheels with Continental SportContact 7 Force tires. The braking system has also been strengthened. The interior is trimmed in black leather and suede with carbon inserts. Bodo Buschmann’s signature is embroidered on the door panels, and the car’s silhouette is embroidered on the seatbacks. In total, the German tuning studio plans to make 77 copies, producing 10-15 cars per year.
