The incident occurred on the afternoon of March 3 at the 7th kilometer of the Moscow Ring Road. Telegram channel 112 reports this.
“Currently, traffic on the highway is difficult. Specialists from the Ministry of Emergency Situations are working on the spot,” the publication says.
Eyewitnesses captured the consequences of the accident. The footage shows cars burning on the roadway, although the flames did not completely engulf the cars. People gathered at the scene, and cardboard boxes were scattered next to the burning vehicle. The recording also shows that traffic on the road is currently difficult, as damaged cars have occupied one of the lanes.
Previously, in China, a Nio EC6 was filmed split into pieces after an accident. On December 1, in a suburb of Shanghai, a Nio EC6 electric crossover crashed into a concrete fence at high speed. The impact was so strong that the rear of the car was completely separated from the front.
At the time of the accident, the driver assistance system did not work, and the company said that the doors unlocked after the impact and the handles extended automatically. They also noted that the battery did not catch fire or overheat. The causes of the accident are being clarified – the official police conclusion and the results of the technical examination have not yet been made public.
Earlier, traffic on the Moscow Ring Road was partially blocked after an accident with a truck.
