The Chinese concern BYD will present a new flagship crossover – Tang 9. As CarNewsChina reports, this will be the largest model in the Dynasty family. The length of the car will exceed 5 meters, which will allow three rows of seats to be placed in the cabin.
The new product will become a serial embodiment of the Dynasty D concept and will receive a new front design for the brand. The prototype features a massive radiator grille with many slats, vertical headlight units and chrome parts. Sales are planned to begin in the first half of 2026, and it will compete with the Aito M9 and Zeekr 9X.
The crossover will be offered with an all-electric and hybrid powertrain. The expected price in China is from 2.17 to 3.25 million rubles (200-300 thousand yuan). The model’s debut, previously scheduled for 2025, was postponed for additional refinement.
Previously, a Lada convertible was sold in Russia at the price of a Chinese crossover.
