BYD entered the Japanese car market in 2023. The first-born was the Atto 3 crossover (aka Yuan Plus), which was joined by the Dolphin hatchback. Later the line was replenished with the Seal sedan. In 2025, BYD will introduce another electric car to the Japanese – Sealion 07.
Toyota’s product range includes only one electric vehicle – the bZ4X crossover, created jointly with Subaru. Its price starts at 5.5 million yen (about 3.8 million rubles).
