Car exports from China to Russia fell by 44%

Russian Ambassador to China Igor Morgulov stated this in an interview with RIA Novosti.

“For example, in 2025, the supply of cars decreased by 44%, which in previous years, as we know, grew rapidly,” Morgulov said.

According to the General Administration of Customs of China, trade turnover between China and Russia at the end of 2025 amounted to $228.105 billion, which is 6.9% less than the 2024 figure.

Commenting on these data, the ambassador noted that the reduction in Chinese imports to the Russian Federation (by more than 10%) was expected. According to experts, to which he refers, this decrease is due to the saturation of the Russian market with a number of categories of goods from China.

It was previously reported that UAZ is testing new diesel models in extreme conditions.
