Car painter has become the highest paid profession in the Russian Federation

The average salary of these specialists in 2026 exceeded 180 thousand rubles. A year ago, employers offered them 38% less. TASS reports this with reference to a study by Avito Works.

“On average, employers offered new employees in this area 181,596 rubles/month, which is 38% higher than a year earlier. Often such specialists work in car repair shops and service stations, where precision, accuracy and knowledge of modern painting technologies are important,” the publication says.

The level of income depends on experience, region and working conditions, the study authors clarify. Second place in the ranking of highly paid professions was taken by welders with an average proposed income of 167,132 rubles per month. In third place are monolithic workers: in the winter of 2026 they were offered an average of 163,076 rubles.
