For cars without “rescue cards”, they can simply stop issuing the approval of the vehicle (OTTS) – a document necessary to display the model to the Russian market. This decision is going to discuss the Department of Educational and Scientific and Technical Activities of the Russian Emergencies Ministry with the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
“We intend to discuss with the Ministry of Industry and Trade the possibility of restrictions on the issuance of OTTS for vehicles if they are not presented with“ rescue maps, ”said the representative of the department Anton Dorotyuk.
“Rescue map” is a document containing information about the design features of the car. Thanks to him, emergency services arriving at the scene of an accident know where to cut the body to evacuate people. There are also the type of motor, the location of the battery of an electric car or a hybrid and other data about the model.
Almost half of the accident in auto travels in Russia falls on Muscovites in Russia, the accident rate on the roads of schoolchildren was invited to train the rules of the road
GOST, regarding the “Salvation Card”, entered into force in Russia in February 2023. Moreover, not all manufacturers provide such a document when releasing cars on the market.
In May, the insurers listed the most emergency cars in Russia. In the first quarter of 2025, Hyundai Solaris became the leader – 5.5 thousand incidents were recorded with him. The second and third places also went to the “state employees” – Kia Rio and Lada Granta.
