Certified SUV M-Hero M817: it can be released in Lipetsk

We are talking about the M817: a simplified analogue of a familiar to the Russians of an all-terrain vehicle M-Hero I (M917). According to the Chinese Cars portal, the Lipetsk Plant Motorinvest is studying the possibility of assembling an SUV in Russia, so the details about the novelty are curious.

The “junior” index should not be embarrassed: the M-Hero M817 is a large car, the length/width/height of which is 5100/1998/1899 millimeters, respectively, the wheelbase is 3005 millimeters. Thus, the novelty by 5.5 centimeters exceeds M-Hero I (M917) in distance between the axes and by 3.5 centimeters in total! However, the equipment is 200-400 kilograms less, which means they plan to save on the traction battery.

The overall design with a parallel hybrid system and a 1.5-liter (197 hp) turbo engine in the role of gasoline generator will remain. However, neither the capacity of the CATL battery, nor the quantity or power of the electric motor are reported.
