According to Interfax, the revenue of the Russian representative office of the Chinese automaker Changan – Chang’an Motors Rus LLC – at the end of 2025 decreased by 45.6% and amounted to 115.6 billion rubles, as follows from the company’s financial statements.
The company received a negative result of almost 9.5 billion rubles, which happened for the first time since 2020. For comparison, the Changan subsidiary received a record profit of 7.5 billion rubles in 2023, and the maximum revenue was recorded in 2024 – 212.5 billion rubles.
The reporting indicates that the amount of revenue is adjusted for the amount of bonuses to dealers (15.2 billion rubles) and compensation for discounts to banks to subsidize sales (11.9 billion rubles). Cost of sales decreased by 35.5% to 131.8 billion rubles, and the gross loss amounted to 16.1 billion rubles compared to 8.2 billion rubles of gross profit a year earlier.
The company’s other income jumped 8.2 times to 15.9 billion rubles, of which 14.8 billion rubles were formed due to exchange rate differences. Short-term liabilities over the year increased 1.5 times to 104.6 billion rubles, mainly due to an increase in accounts payable to 103.4 billion rubles.
