Chery showed the updated Tiggo 7L with new optics and body

Chery has updated the appearance of the Tiggo 7L, but so far only for the Chinese market. The model is very different from the version that has been sold in Russia for several months. ITHome reports this.

The front part has been completely redesigned: instead of the previous radiator grille, it is more compact, integrated with head optics. The bumper and air intakes have also changed. Semi-hidden door handles appeared on the sides, and lights with lightning bolt graphics appeared at the rear. The picture is completed by a third brake light located on the roof.

The technical characteristics of the updated version for China are still kept secret. Russian buyers are familiar with the Tiggo 7L: under the hood it has a 1.6-liter turbo engine with a power of 150 hp, working in tandem with a 7-speed “robot”. Drive – front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.

This model appeared in Russia in the spring of 2025. As the company explained, the letter L in the name symbolizes not only the body length increased by 40 mm relative to the Tiggo 7 Pro Max, but also the expanded functionality of the car.
