Council: Western companies can return, but there are conditions

The Committee of the Federation Council on Economic Policy proposed a number of conditions that should be fulfilled to Russia to be returned to Russia. Their goal is to protect Russian production in the event that foreign partners again decide to leave the country. The proposals are sent to Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov.

Firstly, Western partners will have to work only within the framework of a joint venture (SP) with domestic automakers. Moreover, the Russian side will control them (both to own and manage them).
