In China, sales of the gas-electrical version of the “joint” truck started. Hybrid Dongfeng Z9 is equipped with a 1.5-liter turbo engine (147 hp, 220 Nm), which works as a generator, and the BorgWarner electric motor is driven in motion. The rear -wheel drive versions cost from 156,900 yuan (21.8 thousand $), the top all -wheel drive version will pull on 219,900 yuan (30.5 thousand $).
Nissan new boss explained why the company was in crisis
In the basic Dongfeng Z9 PHEV, the peak recoil is 326 hp. and 800 nm, a battery has been installed with a capacity of 17 kilowatt hours without a fast charging function, and a stroke on an electric protrusion up to 60 km (WLTC). In top pickups, the power plant develops up to 435 hp. and 800 Nm, a 32.85 kilowatt-hour battery with Super Chalier support and autonomous for up to 135 km.

The total supply of drive is 1000-1050 km (NEDC), because the declared fuel consumption in the mixed cycle is scanty: from 1.3 to 1.9 liters per 100 kilometers. However, the completely discharged Nissan Z9 is more voraciously: in the generator mode, the turbo engine 1.5 consumes about seven liters per 100 kilometers. Pickup’s carrying capacity – up to 0.8 tons, the maximum mass of the towed trailer is 3.2 tons.
A frame truck 5.5 meters long is available only with a four -door cab and a rich interior. So far, top versions with multi-circuit front chairs with ventilation, heating and massage, circuit survey cameras and the function of a “transparent” hood, adaptive optics, extensions and a whole galaxy of active security systems are shown. Probably, the “related” Nissan Frontier Pro will be just that.
Nissan is interested in a frame SUV with a hybrid drive
Under the Dongfeng brand, inexpensive hybrid modifications will also be released, but so far such are not shown. They also offer traditional Z9 with gasoline (2.0 liters, 258 hp) or diesel (2.3 liters, 190 hp) engine without electrification: such machines cost from 120 thousand yuan (16.6 thousand $), are equipped with 6-speed “mechanics” or 8-speed automatic.
