Factory life hacks: AvtoVAZ listed 3 rules for extending engine life

The company recalled in its blog on Zen that detailed recommendations are traditionally contained in the operating instructions, but there are also universal rules.

The first and main rule is to carefully break in a new car. The company emphasizes: until reaching 2 thousand kilometers, it is important to strictly observe the engine load restrictions.

The second prerequisite for engine longevity at AvtoVAZ is called pre-heating. Just 30 seconds – and you can get underway: this time, according to company representatives, is quite enough to brush the snow off the windows, activate all the heating and calmly tune in for the trip.

The third rule concerns the selection of consumables. The manufacturer insists: saving on fuel and technical fluids is unacceptable. To refuel just where, focusing solely on the low price tag, means deliberately reducing the resource of the power unit.

It was previously reported that UAZ is testing new diesel models in extreme conditions.
