The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) instituted several cases due to the increase in gas prices in the regions of the Russian Federation, Kommersant writes. Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak instructed to monitor the situation, according to which fuel problems are observed in several regions of the country, including Crimea, the Trans-Baikal Territory and the Kurilsky district.
In Crimea, an increase in wholesale prices was found, which led to a shortage of automobile fuel at some gas stations. A similar situation due to problems with logistics and increased turnover developed in Transbaikalia and in the Kuril district. There, the AI-95 gasoline was temporarily introduced there.
In addition, the FAS opened a case against Gazprom GNP Sales, which is part of Gazprom PJSC. The reason was a decrease in sales on the St. Petersburg Exchange. Thus, from June 20, the Surguts ZSK, which belonged to the company, placed 74 percent less than the AI-92 on the exchange, 50 percent less than the AI-95.
