Traffic on the Mytishchi Expressway was launched on January 17, but until now travel has been free. Now the tariffs have been approved, reports the Ministry of Transport and Road Infrastructure of the Moscow Region. Tomorrow the highway will become the first toll road of regional significance. The cost of travel along it will vary from 25 to 755 rubles.

The fare depends on the vehicle class and distance. At first, drivers will have to pay for travel through their personal account on the website of the expressway operator, a subsidiary of the VIS Transtoll group. Payment by transponder will begin on February 1.

The length of the Mytishchi Expressway is 16.1 kilometers, it has two lanes in both directions of 3.75 meters each, six interchanges and five sections with different tariffs. There are no barriers: a barrier-free payment system has been implemented on the road. Since the opening of the highway, 400 thousand cars have passed along it.

In Moscow, they will create the production of road signs for a billion rubles. Russians began to drive more often on toll roads. In Russia, they will build new toll highways for a trillion rubles.

The chord connects the Yaroslavskoye highway with Pirogovsky, Ostashkovsky and Afanasovsky. You can use it to get from Mytishchi to Lobnya in about half an hour.

Next month, a new “shawl” will appear in the capital. From February 15, Muscovites will have to pay to travel along the Moscow High-Speed Diameter, but only on weekdays and during rush hours. Authorities note that this will help prevent the road from becoming extremely congested.
