From June, prices for evacuation and storage of cars in Moscow will change

Now, for the removal and placement of the vehicle at the penalty parking, you will have to pay more. The Moscow authorities raised tariffs for the evacuation of motorcycles and cars with engines of up to 250 horsepower. The fee for daily storage of machines on special parking lots will also increase. In addition, travel along the Moscow speed diameter will become more expensive. In this case, the discount for a quick payment of the fine is maintained.

From June 1 of this year, the capital will increase in the capital for the forced evacuation of vehicles and their storage in penalty parking lots. Changes will affect motorcycles and cars with engine power up to 250 horsepower. For cars with engines of up to 80 horsepower, the cost of evacuation will increase from 7200 to 7600 rubles, and for cars with a capacity of 80 to 250 horsepower – from 10,900 to 11,400 rubles. For more powerful cars and trucks, tariffs will remain the same.

Tariffs for storage of evacuated vehicles will also be revised. The cost of the day of storage after the first free days will increase and amount to 1210 to 2893 rubles, depending on the category of the car. Previously, the minimum tariff amounted to 1150 rubles. At the same time, drivers will still be able to use a discount of twenty-five percent with the operational payment of evacuation and storage services.

The last time the cost of evacuation in Moscow was raised on January 1 of this year. Then the prices were changed both to the car’s movement itself and for its storage in the penalty area. For machines with engine power from 80 to 250 horsepower, the cost of evacuation was 10,900 rubles excluding storage costs and a fine for violation of parking rules. At the same time, the payment had to be made within sixty days from the date of return of the vehicle, otherwise the amount of the fine could increase.
