GAC is lucky to Russia “Dragon” – updated GS8 Dragon

The Chinese brand will soon present a new version of the full -size GS8 crossover. She has a processed design with Chinese motives, slightly enlarged dimensions and other interior design. The GAC does not yet disclose information about the power installation of new products and prices.

The name of the GS8 restyled version is due to design. In particular, another drawing of the radiator grille inspired by the dragon scales, and a welcome backlight on the sides. “So the dragon wakes up to the call of the owner,” the GAC notes.

Both bumpers were updated, and the wheels are equipped with floating hub caps with the brand emblem, which remains immovable when driving. Due to the changes, GS8 stretched slightly – by 35 millimeters, so that its length exceeded five meters (5015 millimeters). The width and height remained the same.

Four shades are four: black, silver, white and gray. The salon can be decorated in white, brown or black. There are no images of the interior yet, but they are promised digital cockpit from 12.3 and 14.6 -inch displays, a laconic front panel design, improved sound insulation and many places for storing trifles. The backs of the seats of the second and third rows are folded by pressing the button.

GAC promises to tell about “technology” later. But it is already known that by the end of summer the Russian GS8 will receive a hybrid version, which has a “dragon” of the radiator grille. In China, this option is sold with a two -liter turbo engine and an electromechanical variator of Toyota. The recoil of the system is 237 horsepower and 391 Nm of torque, but it is not yet clear what it will be in Russia.
