Gazeta.Ru explained the growing popularity of Audi cars in Russia

For the first time in many years, the interest of Russians in models from Ingolstadt exceeded the interest in equipment from Stuttgart. Auto expert Evgeny Zabelin told Gazeta.Ru the key reason for this phenomenon.

The reason for the success of the brand, which previously enjoyed limited demand, is explained by the low power of the engines of these cars. Auto expert Evgeniy Zabelin told Gazeta.Ru about this.

The Audi range for the Chinese market still includes internal combustion engines with a power of less than 160 hp, for which there is a preferential recycling fee rate (3.4 thousand rubles) when registered to an individual.

Before this, it became known that in the first months of this year, 3,410 new cars of the Audi brand and 3,379 of the Mercedes-Benz brand were registered in Russia, analyst Sergei Tselikov reported.
